When I read Katie's entry for Brand Ambassador, there was something there I knew many of us could relate to. The joy of parenthood and learning to love our new bodies, even when exhausted! Katie is married to Derek, and a beautiful, mid-thirties, new mama to Delilah. Rocco (their rescue dog) is a great big brother to his 18 month old baby sister! A receptionist by day and local actress by night! Katie landed a role in a spring musical and enjoys Karaoke at any local hole-in-the-wall bar (because those are the best bars) when she can. Weekends though are for family fun!

I asked Katie a few other questions, you can learn more about her below:
What initially made you decide to book a boudoir shoot? (the first time!)
I wanted a unique gift for my soon to-be husband for a wedding gift from his bride. I needed to do something to 1) celebrate my weight loss (I was down about 100 pounds then) and 2) push myself out of my comfort zone to try and accept my body for what it is, was, and will be.
If you can recall, what was your biggest fear before you booked your shoot? DId it come true and, if not, what happened instead?
I think I was afraid I would spend the money to get the pics done and not like a single pic and not order anything...Boy, was I wrong! I had a hard time picking pics because I LOVED so many!
What was your favorite part of your photo shoot?
honestly?...the "It's all about ME" feeling! From getting my hair and makeup done to everything we did to make ME look and feel my best! I felt like a superstar!
Why should women treat themseleves to this experience?
Every woman deserves to celebrate themselves. Whether it's a weight loss; a new baby body; or I finally (need to) accept my self and be proud of who I am and deserve to feel amazing inside and out!
If you were going to tell your best friend about your experience with CKB, what would you tell her?
"It's so much fun! She (Catherine) makes you feel so good you forget you've got no clothes on!"
Why did you want to be a CKB Ambasssador?
I wanted to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone and share my story because I know there's so many women out there in my position. Women who may not feel like themselves after having a baby (babies), and who feel insecure with their "mom" bodies. Quoting Brie Bella (WWE Superstar): " We gave birth therefore we can do anything!" Also, I want to be an inspiration to women of all shapes and sizes.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year?
I hope that 2018 I can get a little healthier; a little happier; and remember daily how truly blessed I am. Becoming one of your ambassadors has already lit a fire under me and I'm so excited to work on me this year!
What would be your DREAM shoot?
I'm a singer and I would love to do some sort of "lounge singer" shoot-complete with one of those big classic microphones!
What else should we know about you?
I'm a bit of a comedian. I feel that this started as a defense mechanism when I was struggling with my self confidence as a teenager but as I've come into myself I've turned it into quite a skill! I hope to make a few gals laugh (with me) while sharing my story and adventures thru out the year.
