I turned 50 this summer..... I have 3 awesome kids, Cassandra 28, DJ 25, and my baby, Jon 11.....and sprinkle that with 3 beautiful granddaughters that call me Nana! I’m on my 2nd marriage to my knight in shining armor, I call him Superfly! I’ve been in dental for over 20 years. And I love it! I love to bowl, play cards and go to rock concerts. I believe every woman should go away for “girls weekend” several times a year!!! It makes me a better mom, wife, and woman!!! I’m also the face of a “recovering pill addict”....been thru hell and back....but I'm stronger than ever!
Why did you want to do a boudoir session?
I turned 50 in August and ugh!!! I wanted to feel sexy about myself!!! I needed to know turning 50 wasn’t the end of my sexy-life! That turning 50 didn’t mean I had to wear polyester pants as my mom did...
Are you planning on sharing your photos with someone else, or are these just for you? These photos are for me and my husband......but I have no problem showing my friends and family! Lol, I’m actually very proud of them!!!
Before your shoot - what do you remember thinking/feeling? How was your planning? Would you do anything differently? I laugh about it now, but before my shoot I was nervous!!! I had several conversations with myself about it...I had self-doubt, I sometimes felt I was too old to do this... blah, blah, blah...I think sometimes as a woman we have a tendency to self-sabotage ourselves...I quickly got passed that...Catherine was awesome about it and with me!!!!

Did you feel well prepared for your shoot? yes
What were your feelings and emotions on the day of your shoot?
I felt so nervous about driving to the studio...Half of me was ready the other half wanted to throw up. Cat was great once I got there. She made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and SEXY!!!
How did you feel the day of your reveal? Before arriving to see your photos and when you saw them for the first time?
I need to be honest, I was scared as hell before the reveal!! What if the photos don’t capture what I see or feel! It’s the “unknown”. The minute I saw them I cried!!! Cat captured “how I felt”!!!!
Knowing what you know now, would you do it again?
Yes, I would do it again!!!
My recommendation is HAVE FUN not only during the shoot but the planning also!!!
What do you feel other women need to know?
Own your sexiness!!!! It’s an attitude!!!!
