You would think that repairs would generally be easier than installing a new roof – well sometimes they are – but often they can be very tricky indeed. Most are temporary in nature but they can be done properly.
The first step in fixing a leak is to find out exactly what is causing the leak. Finding this can sometimes take longer than doing the actual repair! Basically, if the roofing contractor is not totally sure he found the cause – he probably didn’t and any work that was done was done in vain. Coastside Roofing has developed an exact process for finding and fixing leaks which is being turned into a manual for homeowners and contractors.
Finding the exact cause of the leak cannot be understated in importance. But doing the repairs properly is also very important. Non-standard repairs such as waterproofing materials or loads of sealant on metal roofs is a bad idea and can often end up making the problem worse or create a new problem. Sealants have their place, but the average roof repair man or handyman will tend to go overboard so it is important to get someone who knows what they are doing.

Right now, we are all tucked away in our homes...we stay inside because we want this crazy pandemic to get the heck out of here and never come back!!!
Right now, I imagine, you are experiencing low confidence, and probably not feeling so good about yourself, and feeling like you've lost so much control and freedom in life, because of the uncertainty and, well, the fact that our lives have been flipped upside down and turned all around!
The kids are ALWAYS around. Your significant other is ALWAYS around. Or maybe, you are all alone and NO ONE is around! You may or may not be working. There is so much we don't know and you just need a moment to FEEL HUMAN AGAIN!
So, I may not be able to go out there and help on the front lines, and I surely will not be doing bedroom window photos akin to the family porch sessions! As I certainly will get arrested when a neighbor thinks I'm a peeping Tom with a camera! lolI can still fulfill my mission to help build confidence and self-esteem in women without my fancy camera in hand! I will be diving into the world of photographing beautiful women with my webcam.
After simply starting by having some fun with other photographers, this has turned into an opportunity to empower ALL women! It doesn't matter what state or country you live it! If you have a phone, laptop, or tablet - we can do this! I received so much amazing feedback from the first shoot - even before she saw any photos!!! The resolution isn't the same, the photos do have more of a vintage feel to them, but none-the-less they are POWERFUL and certainly will make for some pretty sweet profile pics!

HOW DOES THIS WORK??
Once you book your session, I will send you a link that you will use when it’s time for your session. Upon signing in you will see me and I will see you! It’s time to get started! I will have you take me on a walk through your space so I can see where the light is and how it shows up with your device (you can use a laptop, ipad or phone - the phone works best!). Then, I will instruct you with where to prop up your device (I recommend having a phone stand, portable stool, or something sturdy to lean your device against - get creative!) At that point, I will direct you on where and how to pose, use vocal commands and gestures and as a last resort, showing you the exact pose from my side of the world! (Ah! the powers of technology.) When you are posing, I will be “taking shots” just like I do in the studio - albeit a little slower and with less clicking sounds. We will work our way through your space trying a bunch of different poses, styles, etc. and at the end of your session I will take your images, edit them with my artistic flair (because we all know screenshots aren’t yielding us high end- large format images) and send you a dropbox folder of 10 digital images that are yours to do whatever you want!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Basically whatever you want, but I recommend wearing something that suits the environment (your home) that we will be shooting in. If it is a bedroom, any lingerie, nude, or comfy clothes will work - if in a bathroom/shower, we can do a towel on the head and some nudes - if outside, a swimsuit or cute streetwear outfit will work. Literally, anything you have in your closet is totally fine!
MY HOUSE IS NOT PHOTO-WORTHY, WHAT DO I DO?
That’s not for you to decide haha! All we need to create some beautiful images is a bed, couch or chair, a blank wall, and a window - everything else is just a bonus. Literally anything and everything works! I have photographed people in their tubs, their bedrooms, their offices, their forests, their swimming pools, their closets - LITERALLY anywhere. And I don’t care if you have crap lying around - I say crap adds character.
IS THIS A SUBSTITUTE FOR A REGULAR SESSION WITH YOU?
While this is a temporary substitution to our traditional sessions until we can get back in the studio, it will never replace the FULL experience we offer in studio with professional hair & makeup, up to a 3-hour session, the ability to wear whatever you want from our wardrobe with a variety of awesome pieces, and of course, high-quality images that are worthy of displaying in your home and in a luxury album to remind you for years of what a GODDESS you are.
WebCam Sessions are $75 for a 30 minute session + 10 digital images
By booking a session you are agreeing to the following: every session will be different based on the environment, internet quality, and light. Editing is up to the discretion of the photographer (Cat)! These sessions will last approximately 30-45 minutes and you will be followed up with a Dropbox folder to download your images which will expire in 72 hours.
